The Chamber’s role in advocacy means aggressively promoting employment and commerce-friendly initiatives and government actions. It means engaging our elected officials and providing proactive, positive business-specific policy initiative and addressing issues that affect private-sector jobs.
The Chamber offers educational programs for members with a goal of providing ongoing, leading edge educational programming for small business owners, managers, and community leaders. Local and regional trainers cover a variety of topics pertaining to business growth and development as well as innovative and creative programs to increase business success.

The DC Ambassadors travel to Washington, DC for a series of high level meetings with federal officials to seek federal funding for local and regional projects including transportation funds, community development funding, parks and recreation funds, and various other community projects. The program has resulted in over $600 million being awarded to the community with an additional $800 million being considered for future projects.
The Council Bluffs Chamber has thousands of visitors per year. The community uses the Chamber as a primary source for visitor and relocation information as well as a business resource. Place a digital display ad on the TV screen in our lobby.
