Impact CB is the young professionals' group of the Chamber and offers our young members, between the ages 18-40, professional development, networking, volunteer, and civic engagement opportunities.
The CB Chamber offers membership in Impact CB for FREE to all employees of active Chamber members. If your employer is a Chamber member, just complete the Impact CB registration form to get involved. If your employer is not a member of the CB Chamber, an Individual chamber membership can be purchased here.

What is Impact CB?
Impact CB was formed in 2006 by the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce to provide an opportunity for Council Bluffs' young leaders to be active and involved in their community. Impact CB is focused on connecting, attracting and retaining diverse young leaders while promoting the community and building relationships. Currently, we have over 100 members. We invite motivated young professionals to advance Council Bluffs today.
In November 2020, the CB Chamber announced that membership in Impact CB would be FREE to all employees of active Chamber members. If your employer is a Chamber member, just complete the Impact CB registration form to get involved. If your employer is not a member of the CB Chamber, an Individual chamber membership can be purchased here.
Is Impact CB connected to the Council Bluffs Chamber?
Yes, we are the young professional arm of the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. Impact CB is available to any employee of a Chamber member between the ages of 18-40.
Is it only for people in Council Bluffs?
We invite anyone who wants to be involved in Council Bluffs and our mission.
Do I have to be a chamber member to join?
Yes, your employer needs to be a Chamber member in order for you to join Impact CB. You can also join the Chamber as an individual to participate.
Is Impact CB a private group or can anyone join?
Impact CB is NOT a private or invite-only group.
What is the age limit of members?
Our members are between the ages of 18-40 years of age.
What is the cost to join?
Impact CB is free to Chamber members between 18-40.

How do I join the Executive Committee?
As positions become vacant on the Impact CB Executive Committee, we will ask for nominations to fill these vacancies. Executive Committee members commit to 3-year terms. Terms run on a calendar year.
