The Chamber acts as a resource center for visitors and individuals interested in relocating and/or visiting to learn more about our community. Last year, the Chamber responded to more than (7000) requests for business, visitor and relocation formation.

Membership Directory

Each member is listed alphabetically and categorically in our online Membership Directory. The Chamber also distributes over 1000 copies of the Membership CD Directories to the Council Bluffs Chamber Members, and community leaders.

Interactive Online Training

The Chamber partners with the Small Business Development Center & Iowa Western Community College to offer the Virtual Small Business Center. The Center offers online learning & technology training for chamber members and their employees/

Commerce Today Newsletter

Our quarterly news publication updates the community on issues and events happening with the Chamber and the Community (circulation 45,000). Each edition includes current issues impacting the community, events column and business news.

Legislative Voice

Your membership is with an organization that serves as the primary and most influential business advocate in our community. The Chamber uses the power of its members to advocate in their behalf.

Tax Deduction

Membership dues in the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

Continuing legislative forums throughout the year allows our members to meet and talk with officials at various levels of government in both formal and informal settings.

New Member Receptions

New Member Coffees are held quarterly and offer our newest members an orientation to the Chamber, the opportunity to promote their business, network with other new members, current members, Chamber staff, Board Members and Ambassadors.
