Whether it's a golf outing or the annual meeting, members benefit in many ways by participating in an exclusive sponsorship or joint promotion.

Here's a list of the many opportunities for business promotion through chamber events:

"Briefcase Open" Golf Tournament

Opportunity for members of the community to network and share a game of golf. Thirty six teams (144 people) participate in the premier golf event in Council Bluffs. As a voice of the business community, the chamber strives to create forums where its members can form relationships to help each other grow. This tournament serves as a premier event for the business community.

ABC Clinics

Educational series for Chamber members with a goal of providing ongoing, leading edge educational programming for small business owners, managers, and community leaders.   Local and regional trainers cover a variety of topics pertaining to business growth and development as well as innovative and creative programs to increase business success.

It's Showtime! Small Business Showcase

Expanded version of the Small Business Showcase highlighting our small businesses. Done in conjunction with the Spring Quarterly Meeting, the event showcases new and expanding small businesses and provides a day of innovative and leading edge seminars and training opportunities for local business leaders. Capped off with a reception and Chamber After 5 event.

Youth Leadership Council Bluffs

This annual eight-month training program is geared toward up and coming future leaders in the community. The purpose of Council Bluffs Youth Leadership is to give 11th grade students from 8 area schools the opportunity to hone leadership skills, meet community-minded leaders and students, and learn more about Council Bluffs and the surrounding communities. Each year, 18 students participate in an intense, graduate level program to introduce them to the inner workings of the community and its interaction with business and growth.

Quarterly/Annual Meetings

Three quarterly and one Annual meeting provide Chamber members and their guests with updates of Chamber and community activities and feature keynote speakers highlighting business and community topics of interest to our members. The Annual Meeting recaps program activity for the year and introduces the new action plans for the upcoming Chamber year.

Council Bluffs Day at the Legislature

Community Leaders participate in a day at the Legislature working with elected state officials to influence legislation and funding projects. The day begins early and ends late with a reception for legislators and various meetings throughout the day.
