The Council Bluffs Airport is a public municipal facility used for general aviation and charter aircraft. Advanced Air, Inc. and the Commemorative Air Force are located at the airport, along with Life Net, a contract emergency helicopter rescue organization.

Interstate 80 connects from San Francisco, Calif. to Teaneck, New Jersey; I-29 stretches from Kansas City, Missouri to Winnipeg, Manitoba. Inner-city interstates make traveling quick and convenient throughout our metropolitan area.
Council Bluffs is served by both I-680 and I-480. Interstate 680 is a northern bypass freeway looping around the metro area, co-signed with I-29 for 14-miles in Council Bluffs, while I-480 connects our city with downtown Omaha.
