	Mark Norman Vice President of Economic Development Mark joined the Alliance in December 1999 to head the Existing Industry Program and to develop and coordinate marketing efforts. He became Vice President of Economic Development in 2005. Mark's duties include assisting companies in accessing the many different local and state incentive programs available for new and expanding companies. Mark has been doing economic development work in Iowa since 1994, helping companies access the resources they need to be successful.

	Terry D. Bailey, CEcD Director of Business Development Terry joined the Alliance in February 2006 to focus on business attraction and business retention. He is an Iowa native with over 30 years of community and economic development experience. Prior to joining the Alliance he gained valuable experience working for local, regional and state governments, as well as one of the largest generation and transmission electric cooperatives in the country and a regional railroad.

	Sheryl Garst Director of Redevelopment Sheryl joined the Alliance in June 2003 to focus on economic development projects in the community, particularly redevelopment. She is a Chicago native who was awarded a bachelor's degree in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University in May 2000. Prior to joining the Alliance, she was a regional planner for Region XII Council of Governments in Carroll, Iowa, assisting 59 communities and six counties with their community development efforts. Sheryl also interned for the City of Chicago, Department of Planning and Development the summers of 1999 and 2000.
