Workforce & Demographics

The Greater Council Bluffs Region is part of the Omaha metropolitan area, which boasts a population of more than 800,000 and a workforce of more than 400,000. More than 1 million residents live within 50 miles of the area. A laborshed analysis of the available Greater Council Bluffs Region workforce was recently completed based on existing worker commuting patterns. This report documents the 169,000 workers in the Greater Council Bluffs Region laborshed willing to change/enter employment.
