Shamanic Journeying is an ancient meditative method of accessing information and healing from your guides, ancestors and power animals. It has tribal roots in many cultures throughout the world. Typically, the repetitive vibration of a drum beat or the sound of a ceremonial rattle is used to access this state of consciousness. The focus of this Beginning Shamanic Journeying Workshop is to prepare people with the information and abilities needed to participate in more in depth and specific types of journeys in subsequent monthly journeying groups.
Only individuals who take this beginning workshop or who already have the ability to do shamanic journeying will be able to participate in the monthly groups to provide complete focus on the process rather than repeated need for educating a few individuals each month. These monthly groups will not be presented for the purpose of teaching or providing mentorship on how to use the process for healing work on others, but as a significant tool for personal empowerment and awareness.
We will have an altar created with an assortment of crystals that are intuitively selected to add their supportive energies to the evening. You may bring items that you would like to place upon this altar to be imbued with the energy of the workshop.
(All items you place upon the altar will be returned to you at the closing of the workshop).

Kate Jobe's immersion into the path of a shamanic practitioner began over 25 years ago in Omaha, NE with the highly beloved and respected Mary Catherine Burgess. Cathy eventually guided her to pursue numerous workshops through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, including a two year intensive which led Kate to approximately ten years of in depth shamanic workshops with Herb Stevenson, One White Horse Standing. Throughout this time, Kate has been providing shamanic healing sessions to clients, including soul retrievals, removal of attachments, and space clearings. Over the last ten years, her practice has evolved into providing shamanic reiki sessions as well as shamanic empowerment coaching.
