Description
As we look to rebuild local and state economies, technology will play an even bigger role in providing more opportunities for everyone. Whether building a small business or looking for a new career, digital tools are helping Americans mitigate the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, and are helping to enable a faster, stronger recovery. In fact, a recent study by the Connected Commerce Council (3C) in partnership with Google found that more digitally prepared businesses anticipated 4X better revenue for 2020 compared to the less prepared ones.
With that in mind, we're inviting state and local elected officials (and staff) to our upcoming webinar, Rebuilding Local Economies: How Digital Tools Can Support Small Businesses and Job Seekers in Your Community, on Tuesday, March 30th from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
During this event, we’ll:
- Hear about research from the Connected Commerce Council’s “Digitally Driven” report, which offers recommendations for policymakers on how to expand the Digital Safety Net and increase digital resilience for small businesses. Jake Ward, President of Connected Commerce Council, will walk through the findings.
- Learn more about the Grow with Google program, and free resources for local small businesses and job seekers in your communities from Lisa Gevelber, VP of Grow with Google.
- Answer questions about the research and resources during our live Q&A. To make sure that we get to as many questions as possible, please submit your questions during registration.
