Elected leaders sworn in for Pottawattamie County, eager to serve
Six elected officials for Pottawattamie County were sworn into office January 3rd. The oaths were taken during the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors meeting, and included three officials that were re-elected last November, and three newly elected.
Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation Presents $125,000 to Pottawattamie County Board
The Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation recently presented a check for $125,000 to the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors. The money is a partial repayment for the acquisition of 93 acres of land adjacent to Hitchcock Nature Center. The Board approved the $1,175,000 purchase in November.
