Preventative Maintenance Technician

Entry- level position, a great foot in the door to Class Eight, heavy duty maintenance!

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm

Pay is competitive based on experience! We offer direct advancement opportunities through our company.

Position Overview: Currently, we are looking for a PM Tech to perform maintenance/repair tasks on various sleeper semi trucks. This person will be part of a growing team that is focused on driving the long-term growth of our business

Key responsibilities of the position include:

• Changing engine oil, change all filters, and check all fluid levels
• Accurately complete repair orders and document their statuses
• Maintain a clean, Organized, and safe work environment.
• Ability to Maintain Inventory and Request Parts as Needed to Maintain Consistent workflow.
• Express willingness to work with others in achieving objectives set forth by the Shop Manager
• Safely performing assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years servicing vehicles required
• Must be able to understand liquid measurements
• Ability to provide your own basic hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 100+ lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have Minimum Class B CDL, Class A CDL (Preferred)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check
• Must not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years
• Must be able to effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English
