Tire Technician

Position Overview: The Tire Technician will perform tire repairs, replacements, and alignments on our Class Eight trucks and trailers.

Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday

Key responsibilities:

• Replace tires on Class Eight tractors and trailers
• Assist mechanics and shop manager as needed
• Record-keep for DOT requirements
• Perform assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Operate company equipment safely and accurately

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years experience repairing and replacing tires on heavy duty tractors and trailers
• High School or GED required
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Must have adequate tools to perform tasks required
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 100+ lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.)
• Must have Minimum Class B CDL, Class A CDL (Preferred)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check and not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years
• Effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English
