Payments Coordinator
TS Banking Group is seeking to hire a Payments Coordinator. This role is responsible for the daily processes and oversight for the debit and credit card portfolios for TS Banking Group. The work will center around ownership and oversight of vendors related to debit and credit cards, training and assisting employees with knowledge and processes for the card portfolio, daily maintenance to keep the portfolio managed well, and projects related to client engagement for debit and credit card portfolio. This position will work with business unit leaders to ensure interchange fee income and business strategy aligns.
Education and/or work experience preferred includes: High school degree required. Additional education in bank related courses in accounting or 1-2 years related banking or business experience preferred, particularly as a front-line banker/teller or bank operations. Knowledge in the area of debit cards, credit cards and interchange fee will be beneficial for this role.

Experience and Skills:
- Develop and maintain specialized knowledge in all areas of responsibility.
- Conduct daily, monthly and quarterly review of debit card portfolio reporting.
- Conduct routine Maintenance for optimum management of the debit card portfolio for interchange fee income
- Assist branch network with ATM routine maintenance processes and enhancements to ATM fleet in good working order and up to date with functionality needs for the debit card portfolio
- Assist all banking charters with projects related to debit card activation improvements
- Respond and Research internal and client requests for debit card issues
- Provide assistance to co-workers with difficult internal problems or client inquiries or problems. Ensure prompt and courteous response to client inquiries.
- Assist in the development of manuals and supporting documentation to accomplish tasks/duties inherent in this position.
- Assist with fraud prevention processes for debit cards and continue to bring improvements for new fraud prevention enhancements
- Assist business unit leaders with projects related to better client engagement of debit card features and functionality that improves interchange fee income for the charters
- Maintain working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and works closely with BSA Officer to provide insight into active cases.
- Work with business unit leaders for improvements and features needed to continue high level engagement from clients with their debit and credit cards with all charters
- Oversee the plastic inventory control, ordering, and maintenance processes.
- Work with vendors and be a subject matter expert on mandates and regulatory time lines for mandatory changes needed by in-house and vendor systems
- Oversee the digital wallet monitoring, increasing usage of the product, reporting, maintenance, and assisting the frontline with client enrollment
- Work on implementation of debit card promotions as directed by management
- Oversee the vendor management process for all payments vendors assigned
- Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
