Assistant Director of Student Success for Online Programs, Council Bluffs

This position will lead the efforts to recruit and retain students in the Council Bluffs region working directly with the Director of Enrollment & Student Success for Online Programs at Buena Vista University. The recruitment responsibilities of this position are to develop new leads, maintain a recruitment territory, promote BVU in the community, attend events, host classroom visits, and build strong relationships with prospective students through extensive outreach. The student success responsibilities of this position are to advise and support assigned students from the point of inquiry through graduation.

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of excellence in student service and higher education desired. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, collaboration and attention to detail, and a desire to provide excellent service to all stakeholders. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to establish and achieve priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective professional relationships.

This position will be located in Council Bluffs at the BVU office on the Iowa Western campus.
