    SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for working with team members at or away from work in relationship to communicable disease. This includes performing enhanced symptom screenings, COVID testing established by Tyson’s testing strategy, routine telephonic health checks with team members, determining team member isolation and return to work, arranging advanced healthcare if needed; and associated case documentation.   In addition, this position will conduct medical history and physical assessments; adhere to the highest standard of confidentiality; and assist with team member education related to communicable diseases. This position may involve additional occupational health nurse duties as assigned by manager.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Education: Completion of a registered nursing program required. Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required.
    • Experience: 1 plus years’ experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.
    • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
    • Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Travel: Occasional travel to local clinic hospital.
