    Human Resources Generalist is the Acquisition and Engagement Specialist Position The Acquisition and Engagement Specialist is responsible for the acquisition and engagement processes to develop and retain employees in the assigned markets. In addition, this position will collaborate with Market Directors, Team Managers, and Coordinators on onboarding, employee feedback, and proposed training opportunities to help create and maintain a strong, stable, cohesive, and professional team in each market. The Acquisition and Engagement Specialist will report directly to the Acquisition and Engagement Team Coordinator. Essential Duties This position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential functions: Acquisition: Drives a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy, based on an understanding of needs across the company. Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for short and long-term recruiting needs.Research competitors monthly to view job descriptions, hiring wage, sign on bonus, benefits, etc. Manage job postings on a variety of external job sites; use creativity to identify new tools and resources. Source and develop passive candidates through networking, internet searches, social media, research, etc. Attend job fairs, college campuses and community/market events to actively recruit. This includes set up, active participation, and take down of event booth/table a minimum of 4 events per year. Actively coordinate with hiring managers to update job descriptions. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the Company's applicant tracking system. Conduct phone interviews with candidates to understand their background and identify skill sets and qualifications. Maintain documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance. Provide fact-based and candid assessments of talent and make clear recommendations. Establish and maintain professional relationships with high schools, technical schools, universities, alumni organizations, and community organizations, to help identify and source qualified candidates. Schedules new hire orientation for new employees and A & E Coordinator. Manages the on boarding process and is the point of contact for new hires and hiring managers. Initiate and complete the on boarding process, troubleshoot all questions throughout the process. Ensures all employee paperwork is complete and accurate. Maintains and updates employee files. Maintains employee-related databases. Prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company. Prepares and submits a detailed, weekly update regarding acquisition, engagement, performance management and termination to appropriate supervisors and leadership. Fully utilizes company software (i.e.: Relias Learning, DATIS E3, Docuware) to the company's advantage. Regular and consistent attendance per an established schedule. Other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel. Engagement: Develop and implement action plans and strategies and utilize creative design practices to increase employee engagement and sustain the Trivium Life Services culture and values. Administer the progressive discipline policy and procedures and review, approve and record employee disciplinary actions while working with managers and supervisors. Conduct classes for market management related to progressive discipline, separations and terminations, employee relations, team building, Clifton Strengths, etc. Serve as a market contact for employee relations issues, complaints of non-acceptable actions and behaviors, interpretation of policies and procedures, identify and conduct training/educational sessions to staff and managers. Establish long term relationships with employees and provide career coaching when needed. Recognize compliance issues and coordinate with Compliance Team to determine best practices to address issues. Help develop, implement, and maintain multiple modes to solicit and analyze employee feedback and use the feedback to regularly update/inform engagement, communication, and culture-building activities. Conduct exit interviews for separated employees and provide feedback to HR and departmental management regarding trends revealed in exit interviews. Ability to work across the organization to achieve results. Manages day-to-day workload, ensuring efficient operations and timely, responsive customer service. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands; and occasionally required to climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee must be able to travel between locations daily; and occasionally attend seminars/trainings or meetings which may require overnight stay. Working Conditions Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Work requires occasional weekend and/or evening work based upon the needs of the business. The Acquisition and Engagement Specialist will have the following experience and attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Communications or related field preferred or three years of human resources generalist experience
