OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an engaging, motivating, and confident person to join our team as the Information Technology (I.T.) Manager. The role is responsible for supporting systems to facilitate the flow of information for all departments while supervising others.- Networking:
- Understands the issues involved with troubleshooting and basic management of corporate infrastructure.
- Telephony:
- Assists with the creation, administration, and maintenance of telephone systems.
- Internal Systems:
- Supports the design and implementation of the company technology plan.
- Supports the flow of data and information to all departments.
- Supports the maintenance of the computer server, applications, and network hardware/software at all locations.
- Provides employee training and support.
- Installs and provides support of computer software and network equipment.
- New Hire Administration/Training:
- Ensures timely creation of network and email accounts.
- Ensures delivery of equipment to users in different locations.
- Ensures all employees have timely access to voicemail, email, network, applications, and internet.
- Manage relationships between Trivium and all managed service providers.
- Help desk administration.
- Asset Management:
- Maintains the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
- Purchases of software, hardware, and other IT supplies once approved.
- Support the preparation submission, and maintenance of the technology budget.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT DO I NEED?- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but at minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of similar or related experience preferred.
- The I.T. Manager should be experienced with Microsoft products. Must have a strong familiarity with PC hardware, software, and peripherals in a Windows Server environment.
- Individual must be a self-starter who can work well with all levels of the TRIVIUM team. Must possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, coaching skills and can work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
- Must have a driving record that is acceptable to Trivium Life Services’ auto insurance company.
