    Job Description:

    TS Banking Group is seeking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer. The Senior Systems Engineer works with the project team to define system level requirements and translates them into specific functional requirements for software teams.

    Education and/or experience preferred includes: Computer Engineering (Bachelor's degree) or Computer Science (Bachelor's degree) or Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's degree) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

     

    Location: Treynor, IA / Hybrid

     

    Experience and Skills:

    • Work with the project team to define system level requirements and translate them into specific functional requirements
    • Attend design partner design and systems reviews
    • Write technical design specifications
    • Verify system performance against design criteria, providing test documentation
    • Act as technical interface to the customer
    • Work with test teams to ensure all requirements have full coverage
    • Create and maintain software functional requirement documentation and traceability between software functional requirements and top level system requirements
    • Coordinate technical issues with other departments on projects
    • Produce scope of work and technical documentation
    • Develop and analyze system requirements, based on contract requirements and available product requirements
    • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
    • Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
    • Position may require the ability to work before or after normal business hours, including weekends and overnight travel, to meet required deadlines and attend meetings and/or training programs.
