    Job Responsibilities:
    The Associate Account Administrator is responsible for assisting the Account Administrators with client service and internal work.  
    • With guidance and direction, assist with renewal preparation, which may include gathering plan data, requesting benefit plan invoices and completing a census.
    • Under direct supervision, assist with the creation of client reports.
    • Work with team members and carriers to ensure new-hires are enrolled, status changes are processed and terminated employees are removed from appropriate policies.
    • Assist the teams with plan implementation and the enrollment process for renewals and/or changing carriers.
    • Assist administrators with commission audits for each line of coverage to ensure proper payment is received.
    • Help to maintain client files by filing information as needed or requested and assisting with database updates.
    • Follow policies and procedures as outlined in the company and departmental policy manuals.
    • Other duties may be assigned
    Job Requirements:
    • Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school preferred.
    • Minimum one year of experience and/or training working with employee benefits preferred.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications. 
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.   
    • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as monthly/annual premiums, premium variances, commissions, insurance volumes and percentages. 
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, or other professional software (e.g., Client management databases, Google Docs, etc.).
