The Facilities Maintenance Repairer is responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of plant machinery, industrial equipment, physical structure, and pipe and electrical systems in the assigned facility.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function.
•Maintain facility by performing installation and repairs in all areas of the plant, including overhead doors, office furniture and equipment, lighting, housekeeping and equipment repairs.
•Maintain sewers, water, and electrical systems and security system, fire equipment, switch board and electrical related equipment.
•Calculate requirements for and install single and three phase electrical circuits up to 480 VAC.
•Maintain forklift charging system.
•Assist in construction projects in the assigned facility and throughout company, as needed.
•Install and maintain barrier and protection systems.
•Safely operate machine shop tools, including precision measuring tools and circuit tracing equipment.
•Assist with inventory management and control.
•Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.
•Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
•Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance.
•Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
•Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
An individual qualified for this job must be able to:
•Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge of typical mechanical and electrical components used in a manufacturing environment in order to assess viability of alternate components.
•Possess physical strength necessary to move and lift heavy materials.
•Safely operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, high lift trucks) and other motorized equipment.
•Wear/use required PPE (personal protective equipment).
•Accurately multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems.
•Understand written instruction and complete appropriate documentation as directed.
•Logical approach to troubleshooting issues and prioritizing production needs.
•Excellent problem solving capabilities and ability to identify problems immediately and resolve matters quickly and effectively.
•Pay attention to details and pursue quality in accomplishing work duties and tasks. Look for opportunities to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTITICATIONS
An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:
•Three (3) months related experience or associates degree in related field , or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
•Must be able to obtain forklift license, Hazmat certificate, and boiler operation license through Warren Distribution.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•Remain in a stationary position while troubleshooting equipment and performing computer tasks such as data entry.
•Regularly move about and transport parts, products and materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
•Manipulate products using a pallet jack or other powered industrial truck using force of up to 50 pounds.
•Position oneself to access electrical panels and lower levels of equipment.
•Reach overhead to access electrical panels and perform other job duties.
•Work effectively atop elevated workspaces and use boom and scissor lifts when accessing equipment and working on electrical wiring in ceilings.
•Operate, position, and use a wide variety of hand tools and equipment and computer keyboard and mouse.
•Ascend/descend stairs/ladders to perform maintenance and repair operations.
•Use strong vision and depth perception to perform maintenance and repair operations.
•Perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels and have the ability to exchange detailed information.
•Move about in a warehouse and manufacturing facility to observe and effectively communicate with team members and perform job duties.
•Visually recognize colors when working with electrical wiring.

•The individual will be expected to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment, which may include being exposed to work in high/precarious places, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature and humidity, and dust, odors and fumes. Typical noise level is loud.
