    Title: Council Bluffs Nourish Program Manager  

    Reports to: Chief Executive Officer 

    Compensation Status:  Full-Time Salary 

     

    General Summary: Represent Together in a professional manner that cultivates grassroots relationships with Council Bluffs and its surrounding communities.  Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the operational functions of the Council Bluffs Facility that houses the Choice Pantry.  Ensure the culture of service delivery upholds are values of Hope, Dignity, Compassion, Diversity, and Excellence. 

     

    Essential Job Functions:  

    • Represent Together in a professional, compassionate, and charismatic manner. 

    • Cultivate grassroots relationships with the Council Bluffs Community. 

    • Support the Council Bluffs community though leadership and service. 

    • Create and nurture a warm, welcoming service delivery and work environment where everyone feels welcome and is treated with respect and dignity. 

    • Support the Pantry Supervisor in successful operation of the Choice Pantry. 

    • Ensure the facility, participants, staff, and volunteers are always supported with a safe, healthy, and secure business environment. 

    • Supervise front desk and security staff. 

    • Cultivate and maintain positive external relations with participants, volunteers, and community members.  

    • Cultivate and ensure community resources and information related to services is up to date and available to participants. 

    • Problem solve issues or challenges that arise and/or work with the leadership team to find remedies including human resources. 

    • Serve as point of contact and leadership representative of Together in Council Bluffs.  Act as a liaison to the Omaha Office. 

     

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

    • Ability to communicate and work with a wide variety of people. 

    • Ability to develop and cultivate relationships with a variety of constituents. 

    • Ability to multi-task well. 

    • Good organization and problem-solving skills. 

     

    Education and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred) or equivalent experience. 

    • Facility maintenance and/or warehouse experience recommended. 

    • Demonstrated history of strong leadership. 

     

    Physical Requirements: 

    • Hearing and vision must be correctable to within normal ranges. 

    • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
