    Summary Description of Work

    This Program Coordinator will serve as an on-site expert and liaison with Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) for the Iowa Provider Network (IPN) Grant and all related subcontracts as they pertain to Iowa Behavioral Health. This position may provide supervision and support to staff and will be involved in coordination of services for clients when necessary.

    Work Schedule: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • *Provides regular supervision and support for all program staff as assigned.
    • *Supervises, monitors, trains, evaluates and develops program staff as needed.
    • *Maintains relationships with community providers and other agency programs in order to assist clients in accessing needed community resources.
    • *Works as a team member with other program staff to provide trauma-informed care to clients.
    • *Collects Data and completes and submits reports related to IPN and any subcontracts.
    • *Learn and become office expert of IDPH Reporting System and HFS Electronic Health Record.
    • *Reviews activities and goals with Program Director.
    • *Supervises the contract budgets along with Program Director and ensures funds are utilized within contract guidelines and sufficiently spent down.
    • *Leads grant contract audits.
    • *Attend all monthly and quarterly provider calls/meetings.
    • *Maintain all reports required of the position.
    • *The ability to communicate positively with community members regarding coordination of services.
    • *Display a comfort level in working with stressful individual/family dynamics.
    • *Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the agency.
    • *Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
    • *Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
    • Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
    • Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external
    • training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
    • *Creates, maintains and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
    • *Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
    • *Essential functions of this job is to be performed on company physical work site or designated work site.
    • Performs other program related duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
    • Prior work in or knowledge of grants
    • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record.
    • Alcohol/drug abuse experience preferred
