We are looking for people who want to make a positive difference in the lives of young adolescents with behavioral/personality issues. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates or soon to be college graduates to build skills in the Social Services field and gain experience working with troubled youth. The Youth Worker will have extensive direct contact with youth in a daily living setting and will act as a role model and also a facilitator for daily activities. As a Youth Worker, you will learn how to manage a crisis and calm down individuals who are angry or unable to manage other emotions.  You will lead groups designed to teach skills and help children learn to communicate and interact appropriately.  Most importantly, you’ll learn to build relationships with youth that help build a foundation for them to heal.

Youth Workers benefit from a career ladder. Education and experience determine starting pay, and with more training and experience, become eligible for raises. We also offer a great benefits package for eligible employees.

All employees must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent), pass criminal history, child abuse, and sex offender checks and complete a physical and TB test.

PM and Overnight shifts available in both our Shelter and Residential Program.
Shift Differential available for PM shifts.
