A typical day of an insurance sales agent involves reaching out to prospects, gathering information on what their ideal insurance plan would look like, running quotes, and completing insurance applications. These activities are often done over the phone, but sometimes involve visiting with clients in person. Many agents also find value in attending networking events to get more leads.
This is a full-commission role. We offer competitive starting compensation. A commission schedule can be provided upon request. Anticipated first year annual income is between $25,000-$35,000. In an insurance sales role, most agents are making $100,000 per year after four-five years in the field.
