    The Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking applicants for the following position:

    Position: Truck Driver II (2 OPENINGS)
    Location: Nutrition Services (District-Wide)
    Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (may vary)
    Salary: $15.59 + $0.20 increase after 90-day probation = $15.79

    • Responsible for organizing route on a daily basis to accomplish nutrition service schedules and other deliveries.
    • Responsible for picking orders for warehouse and nutrition service as assigned daily.
    • Stocking new deliveries to warehouse daily as they are received.
    • Pickup deposits from schools and deliver them to the bank daily.
    • Assist the Warehouse Manager in unloading delivery trucks, picking stock, storing stock and other warehouse duties that may be required daily.
    • Communicates daily with warehouse manager, building nutrition service staff and/or building principal to meet changing needs for nutrition service goods and/or services.
    • Load truck and safely deliver warehouse goods and other items to District facilities,maintaining the delivery schedule established by the supervisor daily.
    • Pick up and deliver mail, cafeteria goods and other items as may be necessary daily.
    • Responsible for inter-District deliveries, i.e., priority mail and other items to designated parties, pick up mail deliveries from buildings and deliver to mailroom daily.
    • Maintain assigned vehicle(s) in orderly fashion, requesting mechanical attention as needed.
    • Assist in physical inventories to the extent assigned by the supervisor
