The Council Bluffs Chamber is proud to once again celebrate our local businesses and nonprofits through the return of our Business Awards at this year’s Annual Meeting of Members. These awards highlight Chamber members who are making a meaningful impact in our community.
We invite you to nominate a deserving business or nonprofit using the form below. Every nomination helps us shine a spotlight on the outstanding contributions happening all around us.
Nomination Deadline: December 1, 2026, at Noon
All nominations will be reviewed by a committee who will select this year’s award recipients. While not every field on the form is required, we encourage you to provide as much detail as possible to make the strongest case for your nominee. Take the time to make your submission count. The most thoughtful, complete nominations with specific examples will be forwarded to the selection committee for consideration. Your thoughtful input helps us recognize and celebrate the organizations driving growth and positive change in Council Bluffs.
These awards honor Chamber members for their:
• Exceptional customer service and commitment to clients
• Innovative products, services, or practices
• Active involvement and positive contributions to the community
• Strong leadership within their industry or community
• Measurable growth and stability over time
• Significant positive impact on the local economy and workforce
This year, we’re also excited to continue the Volunteer of the Year Award, honoring an individual whose time, dedication, and leadership have made a significant difference in Council Bluffs. Every nomination helps us shine a spotlight on the outstanding contributions happening all around us.

The Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize outstanding businesses and nonprofits that contribute to the growth, prosperity, and vitality of our community. We invite nominations from our membership to honor those who exemplify excellence in service, innovation, and leadership.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Chamber Membership:Â Nominees must be active members of the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce.
- Nomination Limitations: Self-nominations and third-party nominations are both welcomed. Each nominee must meet the Chamber’s criteria for business or nonprofit status.
Selection Process:
- Once nominations are received, they will be reviewed and voted on by The Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce Board
- The board will assess nominees based on their contributions to the community, demonstration of leadership, and impact within their respective sectors.
Notification of Winners:
Award recipients will be notified by December 22, 2026. Winners will be publicly announced and honored at The Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on February 4, 2027.
