The Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce strongly supports the freedom all individuals have to express themselves in a respectful and tactful manner. The CB Chamber believes embracing our differences makes us stronger as a community and as an organization, and allows the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion to grow and expand throughout the Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie County community. DE&I MINI VIDEOS
The Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce has been working with professionals in the area of diversity, equity, and inclusion. During the work of DE&I education, advocacy, and initiatives it has become clear many area leaders have a lack of knowledge about the importance of DE&I. This lack of knowledge and experience in the space has created some fear of misstepping during their journey to infuse inclusivity in their workplace culture.
The fear of not knowing what to say, where to start, or how to move forward can paralyze their actions. The purpose of the DE&I videos is to provide a safe place for leaders to start learning about DE&I and how it can help their workplace culture, increase diversity, and increase productivity and profits.
The goal of the videos is to provide an opportunity for these local leaders to broaden their knowledge, thereby making them comfortable enough to join in the conversations, participate in committees with a DE&I focus, and start the work of infusing DE&I in their workplace.
