            • Are you the HR or hiring manager for your business or organization? If so, join our workforce collaborative lunch and learns.  

              As a collaborative, our goals are as follows: 

              1. Reduce aggregate employee turnover in focus employers to less than 10%.
              2. Fill 75% of “new positions” in focus employers.  
              3. Reduce percent of companies reporting that the number of jobs unfilled is stable, to 10%.
              4. Increase the number of companies that actively recruit veterans to 100%.
              5. Employers are happy and can see how workforce initiatives have helped.
              6. Improve ‘brain-drain’ by 10% (# of young adults/college grads that leave the area after graduation).
              7. Increase the number of companies recognizing the National Career Readiness Certification. (NCRC.) 

            • Lunch & Learn - Itinerary

              Join us to hear workforce updates from the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. Learn where are we in achieving our workforce goal. Hear from and collaborate with fellow chamber members as they share about their HR programs, procedures, workforce culture, tools, and resources they find valuable. Then hear from a guest speaker that will focus on one of the following areas, tools and resources for recruiting and retention, community resources for your organization or your workforce, or professional development.

              Workforce Lunch & Learns are every third Thursday.  Due to COVID-19, these are currently over zoom and are FREE!

              Once we are able to meet in-person again, we will be hosting at our Series Sponsors meeting space. The cost will then be $10 - members and $20 - non-members.  Lunch will be provided for in-person meetings.
